Where does the time go...

I'm just trying to do a little catch-up. I haven't posted in so long (been incredibly busy), and our little girl just keeps growing like crazy, doing new things every day, always making us laugh. Since I don't have all night to recap the last few weeks, I'll just post some Thanksgiving pics to show Corrina's first Thanksgiving meal. We went to Pawpaw Dave's and Grandma Dee's house for the weekend and ate lots of food. We ate our first big meal at Grandpa and Grandma Cox's and played with lots of cousins. Then, we rested our tummies for the next big meal at Aunt DC's and Uncle FC's. After that meal, more playing with lots of cousins. We LOVE our Family!!!

Corrina just loves to dance. Aunt DC had a Santa that played music and danced, as well as Snowmen that did the same, so of course, Corrina had to dance with them!

We celebrated Halloween a little early this year, first at Grandma Dee and Papaw Dave's then Trunk-or-Treat at church on Sunday. Corrina laughed through the whole evening on Sunday, seeing all her buddies in fun costumes. She was such a trooper that day because after church we went with the teens to the pumpkin patch, then on to the corn maze, and finally back to the church for Trunk-or-Treat. She enjoyed the whole day and wasn't grumpy at all. Here's our little lady bug:

Before I say anything, I want to say thank you to everyone who voted for Corrina in the Baby Idol contest. Even though she didn't win, wasn't it fun looking at all those cute babies?

I know it's late, but here are some pics from Auntie Em's birthday back in September. We LOVE YOU, AUNTIE EM!

The next party was a couple of Saturdays ago; we went to the first of the 1st birthdays. JT had the first birthday party of all those babies at church who were born around the same time. Can't believe it's been a year already! Here are some cute pics from the party. Corrina spent most of the time trying to figure out how the pumpkin lit up.

And finally, this past weekend we celebrated my bday with my parents. I had so much fun trying to get Corrina to blow out the candles. I also had a blast listening to my grandparents talk about their high school days and explaining to me what rumble seats and fender skirts and stuff are. Here are some pics from the bday party.

We also went to Louisville's Fall Festival last weekend. We ate pancakes Saturday morning; Corrina got a specially made Mickey Mouse pancake from her Papaw Dave. Later that day, we went to the parade, and Corrina had so much fun picking up the candy and putting it in her pumpkin bucket. (And Momma had so much fun eating the candy..hehe!)

Before I explain the title, I just have to say that I LOVE October. It is by far my favorite month...the weather, the changing leaves, the tricks and treats, the costumes, the apple cider, Trunk-Or-Treat...I could go on. Instead, I'll explain what I meant by my post title.

I have to preface it by saying that I really can't believe I did this, because I never thought I would, but we just have the cutest pic of Corrina in her cowgirl hat, so I had to enter the pic in a contest. It's a Baby Idol contest, put on by 93.7 The Bull (the country radio station I listen to). Corrina's pic is on the website (http://www.thebullrocks.com/), and the voting starts on Monday, Oct. 6. So, please, please, please everyone go to the website and vote for Corrina T. Again, can't believe I entered her, but the pic is just TOO CUTE! I know I already posted it, but here it is again. Growing like a weed

Today was Corrina's 9-month Dr's appt. She continues to grow fast, although she's slowing down on weight gain. Goodbye chunky thighs...boohoo. Here are her measurements:

Weight: 20 lbs 9 oz (75-90th%)

Height: 29" (90th%)

Head: 17.5" (50-75th%)

She also got 2 shots today, but she was very brave and only cried for about 30 secs.

We have the sweetest little girl ever! Thank you, God!

Nine months!!

I truly can't believe Corrina is 9 months old. My little girl has her 2 front upper teeth now. She actually looks more like a little girl and less like a baby. Where is time going? She also seems to be a lot like her momma in that she gets frustrated when something doesn't come easy (i.e. getting from one place to another for her or golf for momma). She is still trying to crawl but prefers instead to lie on her stomach and whine or yelp until we move her. It's been tough to get her to crawl because even if we think we've placed a toy just beyond her reach, she has this amazing arm span and reach and is able to grab those toys pretty easily. I think she has "go-go-gadget" arms. Anyhoo, here's some new pics. These first 2 pics show one of her upper teeth fairly well.


This next pic is her new face. Now that she has her upper teeth, she has been grinding her teeth together, hence the face. Jimmy is hating this sound; drives him nuts!

Our little chunky monkey! Tomorrow she has her 9-month appt with Mr. John. We'll let you know how much she's grown.
