Dear Ed Tritschler - One of Our Heroes

Ed Tritschler is a dear man who has allowed us to tag along on some of his adventures during his 70th year of life. Some of you know Ed, but for those who don't, he is doing 70 things he has never done before in his 70th year of life. What a brilliant idea! He certainly knows how to take advantage of the life given him by God. We've enjoyed hearing of his adventures, but even more, we've enjoyed partaking in a couple.

Saturday morning, we gathered on the Missouri side of the Eads Bridge and walked across to the Illinois side. This was so much better than wasting the morning by sleeping in! Thank you, Ed, for inviting us on your adventure. We are so happy to be able to participate, as well as bring Corrina along. I think she'll have an adventurous spirit some day (since we drag her along everywhere...poor kid.).

After walking to Illinois and back, enjoying the fabulous view of the skyline of St. Louis, we decided that it was a beautiful day, and we weren't ready to return home to our cleaning. So, we headed to Laclede's Landing for some geocaching and found that the river is up over the road that parallels the river. We also had to laugh as you can see the pic of the statue that is just barely treading water. We had such a wonderful time exploring St. Louis. Here are some pics of the day:

Okay, now here are just some funny pics of our little sweetpea. She has moved on from Bunny Bear and Eddie, and her new favorite toy is Mr. Monkey. We think she really likes him because, as you can see, she can fit the tail in her mouth. Anyway, just thought they were cute.
