Quick on the Draw

Corrina's trying to sit up, but inevitably, she either falls to the side or ends up halving herself by folding her upper body over her legs. She's very flexible. Hehe. Here's the best pic I have of her sitting up. This lasted all of about 2 seconds, but after several attempts, I finally learned to quick-draw the camera and was able to capture the moment. I have found that I need to improve on this skill, as I have missed several cute things because they only last seconds and I never seem to have the camera ready. How am I supposed to prove that my baby has these amazing skills if I don't have them on film? (Haha).

I just thought this pic was funny...look at that expression on her face. I can just hear her thoughts...."Man, Mom, I am soooo sick of tummy time. Can we do something else, please?"

Below are pics of her first attempt at eating cereal. She actually did very well and enjoyed the taste (I think), although most of the cereal ended up on her chin and the bib. She also discovered that she could make the cereal fly if she did a raspberry while the spoon was in her mouth. Tonight, she really thought that was fun and even more cereal went flying all over the table. It is too cute though! Please note 2 things, (1) the "I Love Grandma" bib, and (2) it took both Jimmy and me to feed her...how do people do these things on their own and still survive? Thank God for my husband!! (And an extra spoon to keep her occupied because she kept wanting to grab the bowl and the spoon with the cereal on it.)
