"She Was a Day Tripper, Yeah..."

Corrina and Mommy went on their first roadtrip together. Grandma Dee also went with us and was a huge help. We drove 6.5 hours down to Huntsville, Alabama to a wedding. Corrina did so well. We left at 3:00p on Friday, stayed overnight in a hotel, went to the wedding at 6:00p Saturday, then drove all night Saturday night back to Papaw Dave and Grandma Dee's house. Corrina slept most of the way. Thanks to Grandma Dee, who kept her entertained in the few waking moments. We had a wonderful time visiting with old friends. I miss my girls! Here's a few pics.
This is Mommy, Corrina, and Mommy's good friend and college roommate Kelley.

The wedding was so lovely; it was at a country club up on a cliff above Huntsville. The ceremony was behind the clubhouse with a backdrop of the ledges overlooking the valley...picture perfect with the light from the setting sun adding a romantic touch. I really enjoyed the boy who ran down the isle just before Margaret came down the staircase; he was ringing a bell, shouting, "The bride is comin'; the bride is comin'." Very charming. So glad we were able to be there.

Isn't the bride beautiful! Congrats to Margaret and Jeremy.
